Ventilation is one of the most important factors for maintaining acceptable indoor air quality in buildings.
Ventilation
Ventilation is the process of changing or replacing air in any space to provide high indoor air quality (i.e. to control temperature, replenish oxygen, or remove moisture, odors, smoke, heat, dust, airborne bacteria, and carbon dioxide). Ventilation is used to remove unpleasant smells and excessive moisture, introduce outside air, to keep interior building air circulating, and to prevent stagnation of the interior air.
Ventilation includes both the exchange of air to the outside as well as circulation of air within the building. It is one of the most important factors for maintaining acceptable indoor air quality in buildings. Heat Doc offer our customers both Heat Recovery Ventillation and Demand Controlled Ventillation systems.
Heat Recovery Ventilation
A whole house heat recovery ventilation unit works continuously around the clock to extract moist, stale air from wet rooms (kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms) and supply fresh, filtered air to habitable rooms (bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms). Up to 90% of the heat in the extract air which would normally have been exhausted to atmosphere is recovered by the heat exchanger in the unit and used to temper incoming supply air.
Trust Heat Doc to advise, guide and install the best quality Heat Recovery Ventillation for your comfort, and pocket.

Demand Controlled Ventilation
The concept of demand controlled ventilation rests on the principle of providing occupants with the right amount of fresh air, when they need it, and where this is useful. With intelligent airflow management, energy savings are made on every occasion that the need for ventilation is low or null, which can represent more than half the time. Conversely, an activity which emits indoor air pollution such as food preparation in a kitchen, a shower, or even the release of odorous metabolic compounds, generates a need for a greater airflow to remove the pollution quickly.
